snow
yep. just a bit, a flurry, really, drifting down over my as-yet-unshedded wood (what's left of it, actually), but totally unnecessary. Im trying pretend it hasnt happened. It's not working.

I really thought we would get our first frost last night. I live in a low lying area. It was supposed to be 28 degrees last night, normally that would make it about 25 down here by the river. The higher elevations got a killing frost last night. We got fog that protected everything here on the river. If I listen closely I can still hear the grass growing. Drat.
ReplyDeletewell cheer up, Harvey, we had our first snow of the season overnight, a solid inch of the stuff. It looks so festive against the green grass...
