6 rainy weeks, 6 sunny days (6WS)

--out of 42 days since the beginning of April (remember that april fool's day blizzard) we have had sun in varying amounts six different times.  It was very exciting.

Not, mind you, that I'm complaiing,  at this point there is no such thing as too much rain (and I may live to regret that statement as we paddle away) and the trees are just soaking it up.  So am I.

  1. Trees are leafing out pretty good up here & my colleague says she actually has floral garden colors showing up.

    1. oh the leaves are just exploding, and all my jonquils are at full bloom. I can just see the colors through the fog and rain. =)
I also noticed that there are apple blossom buds coming out at the same rate as the leaves. So far it looks like a bumper crop.

  2. So this is where all the rain has gone - both Portugal and England have pretty much had a dry April, and May has been relatively dry too!

    1. Liz, flood plains change everything, don't they. Im still rejoicing over the end of the drought (said very softly), and it does seem we might get some of your noreaster. We don't mind (we're good that way).
