I Finally Found the Diningroom Table (6WS)

it's been my go-to worktable all spring and summer, and piled high with everything.  Yesterday, praise the saints, I found the top of it.  Now I can begin making curtains--it's also my cutting table  (well-padded, of course. Mother would die if she knew (it was her table)  ).

  2. Making curtains is magic. My favorite ex made a wall of curtain out of one of those fabric swatchbooks or whatevs!

    1. A wall of curtain sounds wonderful, and I know just the kind of swatchbook you're referring to.
Im planning on using up a huge roll of material I got for nothing from a friend, (I love curtains that fill a space and beyond) but I want to dye it as well. I have 27 windows in here, i'd say I've got my job for the winter...

  4. One makes curtains because one has a boatload of material from other venues that needs using up. One also does windows, scrape, sand, putty and paint, wash and rehang.

it's been a long summer and looks to be a longer wintah.

But ty for being impressed. (so am I, on good days)

  5. I'm hoping to see our dining table again soon! There's always a project of some kind going on - or sometimes it's work.

  6. It's in there somewhere, isn't it. Trouble is, you need a table to put the stuff that's on the DR table. Sigh.
A very good reason to visit the relatives on the holidays.
