It's raining on my new lawnmower (6WS)

but I dont care.  its new, its shiny, nothing clanks or bangs or falls off. the old one was a gift from a neighbor who didnt want to spend the extra $$$ to have it repaired--so we cobbled a few bits together and it ran well if not perfectly for at least six or seven  years here.  But Thursday it breathed its last death rattle and I do mean rattle,  and we realized that it was Over.

  1. Nice rig, JT
Our mower is named Yvette. She weed-whacks, too. Very reasonable.

  2. Oh, yikes. I hope you have somewhere to put it or can cover it! Too much rain this month and last. *sigh*

  4. We have lots of places for storage, McGuffy, not a problem, but sometimes I am much further away from Storage than I like to be, and it can be a long walk for a short rainfall.

Karen, my husband usually ignores the lawnmowing, except to say how nice it looks (which i really do appreciate), but yesterday he had a few turns with it, and i think I could get him hooked on this stuff. hehehe

The Mister is the weed whacker guru, and he also does small engine repairs, large engine repairs, and carpentry. For a minute, Mr. L,, I thought you had named your mower Yvette which is, after all, a very nice name for a mower. Mine is called Honda.

  5. We have ours mowed for us also, because my husband's excuse is the mower that needs to be fixed or replaced is trapped by other junk in the garage. If I try to now, my body would be literally buzzing for a couple hours after.

  9. ive always had Honda cars, this one is 14 and not a lick of rust anywhere.

Nothing, as they say, runs like a Honda. Always nice to know there are a few things out there, Harvey, that we can depend on to start on the first pull, without giving us an argument. =)
