Albert April 1994-June 2013

Came down stairs this morning and found him on the kitchen rug,  in his last sleep.   I buried him in the garden,  with a rock as a marker.   When I think of albert, I always think of these:

This was his first encounter with catnip, many years ago

  1. RIP Albert. You were a good cat in a nice home.

  2. he was his own certain self, with definite preferences in people, food, and sleeping quarters. He wasn't an alpha cat, or an anything cat, he was just a little marmalade cat with a lot of white on him.

  5. ty Harvey. He was my husband's buddy. slept on his chest every night, drooling and purring (the cat, nor my husband); and I just realized that we had him before we had a computer, or the net...

  6. i know you are, Ron. You may josh a bit, and do the elbow nudge now and then, but I understand, as you said once, you dont dislike cats or dogs you just dont WANT them. And that makes all the sense in the world to me.
