Its Been That Kind Of Week (6WS)

I woke last night to torrential drumming on the roof, from  the 57th downpour of the week,  and the distant sound of foghorns.  Nahh, I thought.  That's silly.  What would a foghorn be doing up here

  3. wayne, it does sort of penetrate after a few days doesnt it. Fiona, put your order in. You can have heavy downpours, hail, snow, light mist, or all the fog I can get in a large sack. No charge for the sack.

  6. I love fog; its a photographer's mood music for a lot of things, but after a few days of it you do begin to drift with it and forget what sun feels like.
and yeah, we're having sun now, but at 35 F. it seems not to matter somehow. My 19 year old cat is huddled on the porch in the sun, trying to look happy. I. Will. Love. This.

  7. Snow in the Green Mountains. Snow. And not just in the air. On the friggin ground. Snow. On the deck. On the grill. Snow. And no internet since Wednesday night (Another nighmare altogether. Don't ask).

AND, because the office is moving to a new building next month, and moving the phone & computer tech stuff isn't on the plans until NEXT weekend, we were informed that we had to work on Memorial Day Monday & would be granted the day off next Friday instead. Big Whoops.

    Aaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. oh you poor dear. pat pat pat. there there.

I dont know what's worse, an inch of snow or three days of no Internet. Oh, wait, I do. never mind.
We lost ours, AND the phone service for six hours last week, no idea why, but I do understand the level of frustration. I won't ask. I hate horror stories.

well aftrer all the real Memorial day IS next weekend, so you will be more in line with the original intent than we are now...cold comfort, I know. (moving back slightly from the computer)
