Google strikes again

nine days ago I asked a simple question in the forums.  It's still sitting there waiting to be noticed.
So.  I contacted AskGoogle Answers.  oh boy, they said, we can answer this.  For $28.  I don't think so.

  1. My dear, may I ask what the question was? Ask.com will bring you a lot of answers, not always the right answers. I love a challenging question.

  2. In here, I have a list of blogs that i follow. One of them is now private and by invitation only. I wanted to remove it from the list. here seems to be no way to do this, either on this site or on the Dashboard site (which is part of Google but concerned with managing blogs.)
There is an 'edit' button at the bottom of the list which you might or might not be able to view. However, having run afoul of Google's approach to "edit" I hesitate. The last time I used an 'edit' button in here my entire URL collection disappeared immediately.

  3. Wouldn't it be possible to copy the URLs and put them back in if it did delete them all?

  4. I had a similar problem, and finally found a tiny little icon up near the Google Reader function on the bloglist page, touched that and was able to finally, finally, stop following the blog I wanted to stop.

I notice that the newer browsers and updated websites have all gone to these tiny icons you can barely notice, which turn out to be the main functions of the thing. Some of them just look like a little decorative star or dot, but you need them.

  5. I forgot to add: my invoice will be in the mail.

  6. Boud, thank you. My check is winging its way toward your invoice even as we speak.
